Today Trechoma Records is celebrating the 1 year's birthdayparty, a year....

Today Trechoma Records has been around for 1 year. It seems like yesterday we sat down and started it all, but looking back and seeing what we have accomplished, we can see that it isn't.

POWDERHOG
First of all we've managed to sign 2 awesome bands. Having our first record released on the 29th of May, 2007. Powderhog "Powderhog" was the first release from our hand, and with little distribution and lots of self esteem, we were ready to get into business.

The release recieved a lot of media-attention, and eventhough TV didn't find their musicvideo suitable for showing, a lot of magazine, webzines, newspapers, venues and radioshows wanted to feature Powderhog.
Despite a not so fortunate tour in the US, Powderhog are still going strong, and will go to Norway this month to play the Stoy Festival, plus they're planning an extensive tour in the spring. Powderhog give a good show, something the 5/6 review in GAFFA of their gig at The Rock tells a bit about.

MIKKEL SCHACK BAND
With the aim to focus on Powderhog, we accidently stumbled across Mikkel Schack Band, who have released their debut "...About to Destroy Something Beautiful" this September month. This release has a slightly different approach than our first, but still very Trechoma-suitable. Again the release recieved a lot of important media attention, and the band has so far been featured in several magazines, fanzines, webzines, radioshows, newspapers etc.

The band is currently planning shows for the spring next yea, and the shows will all be a blast. Mikkel Schack Band deliver a massive live-appearance with 3 guitars in order to preserve the heaviness of the music.

VME DISTRIBUTION
With the cds being dsitributed through VME, the shops should be provided with cds, but stilll lacking the internet download sale. Trechoma Records made a deal this August that has secured download sale of our products in more than 21 countries. You can look in the "Distribution" for more details on this subject.

DOWNLOADS
Now we have a lot of goals for the year to come, one being that we'd like to secure distribution of our cds in more countries, which we are curently working hard to achieve.And of course finding more talented musicians to work with.

So today we choose to celebrate ourselves... Have a nice day and have a drink and a toast for us... Come by and knock on the door or send us a mail, would be nice.
